Electronic
Waste (E-waste) is any refuse created by discarded electronic
devices and components as well as substances involved in their
manufacture or use. The disposal of electronics is a growing problem
because electronic equipment frequently contains hazardous
substances.
There
are three main methods to reduce e-waste ;
1. Reuse
2. Reduce
3. Recycle
The
simple methods that we can do to reduce e-waste;
1.
Collect spent household batteries, cellphone batteries,
fluorescent lamps, and empty ink cartridges. Label them and safely
store in a covered container kept out of reach of children and
pets.
2. Donate
usable electronics like computers and laptops to charities and
schools or give them to your neighbors.
3.
Visit the manufacturer’s website or call the dealer to find out
if they have a take back program or scheme for your discarded
electronics.
4. Have
broken electronics repaired to give them a new lease of life.
Electricians and technicians can almost fix everything for reasonable
fees.
5. Never
throw unwanted electronics along with ordinary trash. Pass them on to
relatives and friends in need for reuse. Trust in the old adage: one
person's trash is another person's treasure.

If you have some IT devices which you not use them anymore and their conditions are still good and workable, you can donate them in the donation box at SC503, IT building. (ABAC, Suvarnabhumi Campus)
I donated a Power Adapter that I ever used only twice after I bought it because I have more than one. So I prefer to donate it to people who really want to use it.
JAlthough, it is useless for me, it is useful for someoneJ
